黄大吉，博士、研究员、博士生导师，浙江大学兼职教授，河海大学兼职教授。先后入选国家“百千万人才工程”、浙江省“151 人才工程”和国家海洋局“双百人才工程”。

主持973 课题3 项、国家自然科学基金面上和重点项目3 项、浙江省自然科学基金青年人才培养项目1 项和国家专项项目5 项。主要从事近海动力过程、海洋数值模拟、海洋生态系统动力学研究。在锋面稳定性和锋面环流结构、渤海风与潮的相互作用与季节性层化、黄海冷水团和黄海暖流、东海环流和跨陆架交换过程、物理过程对生态过程的作用等方面取得了一些有价值的成果，发表学术论文90 余篇。

1995年获刘恩兰青年科技奖三等奖

2001年获“浙江青年五四奖章

2003年获浙江省科学技术奖一等奖（排名第六）

2006年获“全国海洋科技先进工作者”
