  • Research Interest

    During my postgraduate study in Ocean University of China, I was engaged in the research of parameter optimization of internal tide model using adjoint assimilation method. After graduation, I joined the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Marine Environmental Dynamics (SOED), Second Institute of Oceanology, Ministry of Natural Resources. I engaged in the research work of ensemble Kalman filter assimilation and ENSO simulation and prediction. With an extended Zebiak-Cane (Z-C)model, ENSO ensemble prediction is carried out by assimilating multi-source data. The extended Z-C significantly improves ENSO prediciton skills. This work has been carried out operational application.
